Community Question: Is Uber in Atlanta?
Uber latest news. Yes. Uber is in the ATL! Uber Atlanta is serving the city with the following:
uberX – Which can hold at least 4 people.
uberXL – Which can hold up to 6 riders.
uberBLACK – The BLACK premium option – black interior and exterior (cars like the Mercedes) can hold up to 4 riders.
uberSUV – Will hold up to 6 just like uberXL – the SUV option is the more luxury option of the two with vehicles like Chevy Tahoe – while XL is more like Honda Pilot. Now in some cases, you could still get an extremely nice vehicle on XL it just all depends.
uberSelect – Uber Select Atlanta – Is like uberBLACK in our option. It’s a luxury option too, however, your car can come in something other than black.
Free Ride
You first ride with Uber is typically free. If you have a friend or family member who uses Uber, we would suggest using their invite code. Try the code FEELING22 as of 12/31/2017 riders have said the code works.
You might want to hurry up and apply the code even if you do not have any intentions of using the service at this moment. Because word on the street is that Uber only offers $22 instead of $30 like back in the days. Uber to Atlanta airport is available. And you should be able to take an Uber from Atlanta airport.

Become A Driver
If you would like to drive in Uber Atlanta, you must meet the following:
Valid driver’s license, insurance with YOUR name on the policy (it’s okay to be on the policy with someone else, however, Uber will ask to see your physical name listed) and registration. From what we have heard, it’s okay for the registration to be listed in someone else name. This might not apply to every city/state though.
You will have to complete a standard background check! Not credit check but background! To get started go to https://get.uber.com/drive/
If you do not have a vehicle, Uber Atlanta does have a financing partnership with Santander Consumer USA – you can see more by going to http://uber.santanderconsumerusa.com/ – you must pass the background check first before you can qualify. There’s no credit check but a deposit is required. This program appears to no longer be available. Check with Uber customer support to see if there is an alternative program.
