Answer: In order to use the Uber driver app, you must have an active account. These steps nor will the video do you any good if your account is not yet live.
Uber is open 24/7 so you can open your app at anytime and go online so you can receive ride requests. When someone is trying to get a ride your phone will beep and screen should flash. Then hit accept.
Logging into the app for the first time:
▸Sign is with your username and password – which is the same info you use to log-in to the part
ners site – if you need to reset your password, please go to partners.uber.com
▸Select which vehicle you will be driving – some partners have more than one vehicle registered, if you do, please make sure you select the correct vehicle
▸Upload a profile photo – you must upload a photo of yourself prior to driving, Uber request a clear headshot – if you try to upload something other than a picture of yourself, eventually they will remove it and ask you to send in a headshot
▸Accept the terms – of course you gotta accept the legal terms
▸Enter your banking and IRS tax information – so you can get paid!
▸Confirm your car color – this will help your riders identity your vehicle
How To Go Online and Offline:
When you are ready to start driving tap ‘Go Online’ and when you are ready to end your shift, you will hit ‘Go Online’, which is located in the left corner of your app.
