Answer: It’s so cool that Uber Split Fare feature will allow you and your friends to split the cost of the fare among one another evenly.
Okay, so once you’ve requested a driver:
– Tар the аrrоw nеxt tо your driver’s information
– Sеlесt “Split Fаrе”
– Choose Your Friend(s)
– Select Send
Those lucky peeps you have welcomed on this ride will be prompted with a notice to acknowledge/accept your Fare Split.
In the event that your friend don’t accept your Fare Split invite or maybe something is wrong with their account, unfortunately, you will be in charge of the complete fare or at least their portion if you are splitting between more than 1 person.
There is a 0.25 charge for each participant in the fare split. Also it’s important to note that, Uber will not be able to split the fare after the trip has ended. So if something didn’t work right, unfortunately, you will have to settle the balance between your friends yourself.
