Where Can I Post My Uber Invite Code?| Policy
Today’s Topic:☀ Where Can I Post My Uber Invite Code – Is Reddit, Okay?☀
One of the things we like most about Uber is that they give riders the chance to spread the Uber love in exchange for a free ride.
However, keep in mind that first time riders that are obtained by posting your code to daily deal sites like RetailMeNot, public forums, Reddit, buying Facebook Ads or Google Adwords, etc., will not be eligible.
We know this can be very confusing…
As Uber certainly appreciate you sharing your personal invite code with friends and family, but unfortunately if you are sharing your code in a commercialize manner , Uber cannot recognize it as “personal.”
If that make sense??
So what will happen if you are found to be misusing your invite code?
Well. Uber reserves the right to suspend your account and/or revoke any and all referral credits at any time if they feel they were earned inappropriately. While they really appreciate your enthusiasm for Uber, they cannot and will not honor your credit if you are spreading the Uber love in a way they do not condone.
Uber’s terms under promotion codes states:
You agree that Promo Codes: (i) must be used for the intended audience and purpose, and in a lawful manner; (ii) may not be duplicated, sold or transferred in any manner, or made available to the general public (whether posted to a public form or otherwise.
As you can see, Uber does not allow promo codes to be distributed in a public manner.
Are there any exceptions?
Maybe. If you have a website, blog or a certain public site you would like to share your Uber code on, you would need to contact Uber directly and get permission. Yes, there are some people who are approved to share their code in such way.
