Driver Discussion: Uber Fleet Partnership Management Program

Fleet Management: Vehicle owners can operate a fleet of vehicles on the Uber system. Fleet partners are responsible for finding and paying drivers, as well as maintaining vehicles with appropriate insurance and registration.

Do You Already Have The Proper Account Setup: Fleet Partners do not have to drive on the Uber system; however, they do need to have an Uber account. As a fleet partner, you’ll receive payments every Thursday for all of the trips completed by the drivers on those vehicles.Uber Fleet Partnership Management Program

Commercial Partnership Only: Keep in mind that all drivers will need to have the appropriate commercial licenses and be listed on the insurance for your vehicles. The partnership is available only for commercial partners at this time.

Add New Drivers: To add a driver to your account, head to https://partners.uber.com. Just click on the “Drivers” tab on the left-hand side, and then click the blue button that says “Add Driver”.

Meeting The Requirements: Any drivers you add to your account must still meet all of the minimum requirements for UberBLACK in your city.

Breakdown requirements for new drivers:

1) be listed on the insurance for your vehicles

2) pass a livery background check:

3) pass a city knowledge test that must be taken in our partner support center

New York Fleet Partnership: To add a driver to your account, they need to have TLC license and be added to your insurance. Uber will be happy to help you with a base letter if you still need to add a driver to your insurance.

To do so, the new driver should come to the office with their TLC and DMV licenses and the vehicle registration for the car they will be driving.
