If you are getting this type of error it is more than likely because there is an issue with your credit card Uber has on file. You might also have an outstanding balance too.Uber An Error Occurred Trying To Fulfill Your Request

Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the Uber app until this problem is rectified. Please do not try to setup a new account because it will only be banned.

So here’s what going to happen, you should be prepared to send in a copy of your credit card on file and your government ID. Why? As a security and safety precaution this is Uber’s verification process.

Have your credit card recently expired or changed and you forgot to update it on file? Did your last transaction fail resulting in an outstanding balance or have you did any chargebacks against Uber? These are the most common reasons for the error.

▸You can use your phone to scan a copy of your ID and credit card. If you no longer have the credit card on file make sure you like them know. In that case, you might only need to send your ID.

Don’t worry about your identity or credit card information being revealed via email. You can cover up everything except your name on your ID and you can cover up everything except the last 4 digits, name, and expiration date on your credit card. Please understand that your ID and credit card must match each other and the name on the Uber account.

✏ Conclusion: If all you have is an outstanding balance, you can try processing the fare by logging into your online account at riders.uber.com. If you need to update your billing information, you can also do so by clicking the ‘Payment’ tab. There you can edit, delete and add payment methods.

If that is not your issue, we recommend that you go ahead and email support and attach your ID and credit card and advise in the email you are getting an error message when you try accessing your account. Remember, you do not have to expose any sensitive information and if you no longer have the credit card on file then you should let them know.
